All coursework, supporting material and submission of assignments is carried out through Moodle.
Writing skills
On enrolling for any one of the courses, students will have access to a dedicated writing skills course, also on the online platform, provided by Girling & Fraser Ltd.
Assessment
Formative assessment - Students undertake 5 multiple choice formative assessments whilst working through materials in the online platform. Access these at your own pace and retake if required, there to enable you to monitor your progress working through the course.
Summative assessment - In order to complete the programme students need to pass the end of programme assessment (also known as the final assessment). This takes the form of an essay (2000 words) and nursing care plan for a given scenario, which is submitted online. If not successful at the first attempt students are given detailed feedback and can resubmit.
Criteria for entry
The course is only open to qualified veterinary nurses / veterinary technicians.
